There are very few metered spaces, and most are on the northbound side, near red barn muffins. They fill up before 7 am most weekdays (later on summer fridays). There are a dozen more or so, all the way back at the southern end of the lot, on the east side. Getting there early is key.
The metered spaces have 16 hrs and 24 hrs parking options. Also longer is available too in certain spots. The website has all the details.
There are a few free parking spots where you can park up to six hours. The rest you will have to pay to park.
