Verizon works fine I have them also.

Cell phone service is hard to get there it all depends on where you are. They are working to put a tower near the enterance, I hope it goes in and helps. Maybe if they get the go ahead to put back the fire tower they will put one on it then it will cover a very large area.
Straight talk phone using the Verizon network seems to work fine, but sounds like it depends how far up/down you happen to walk once there. I think you should be fine, though!
Depends on where u are get to high ground
Verizon worked in most areas for me but it is also dependent on your actual phone as well. My Pixel phone had better service than my friends Samsung and we both had Verizon.
I've hiked here with both verizon and T-Mobile. I had spotty service with each. Its largely dependent on whether you are on low ground or high ground.
