Calm, relatively small. nice for fishing and taking a small walk if you’re a local. not worth coming out of your way for, especially more than once. beautiful lakes although they are more of drainage ponds and quite disgusting.

A very nice nature walk, fairly easy to navigate. Plenty of good photo opportunities.

Disappointing! Noisy from the highway and side streets. Trails not clear. No easy to figure out how to enter the Preserve!

Worked hard picking up litter..it looks better..next steps get rid of the lilly pads chocking the pond

You can fish here, but need a NYS freshwater fishing license if you are over 16 years old for any public freshwater body in the state. I have seen DEC State police on the grounds before so expect to be checked. https://www.dec.ny.gov/permits/6091.html
This is a free entry "park". The ponds are stocked with fish but check with local authorities to see if you need a permit. Generally this is qhere folks walk their dogs. It is wooded, no benches, no vendors, no restrooms.
