Huge, like like it's got some nice little hikes. Only bike way is the main road. But it's a nice way to cut through and see some open areas

If you are using a campsite then you have to reserve it
No, you won't have to pay an entry fee for coming at 8. They don't charge for parking. Also, if you have rented a lean-to there, you can get in free of charge at anytime.
A permit is no longer needed. But there is a parking fee of $10 per car.
Looking at the park map (https://parks.westchestergov.com/images/stories/pdfs/WPRsm_2012.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwjt1omMvLXjAhULZc0KHY6aCJkQFjAAegQIBhAC&usg=AOvVaw2S5sRRf8Ame075pHLfkEcL) the Brown Trail which is by Kimberly Bridge has a lot of river features. I've hiked mostly from the Michigan Rd parking area and know that the Rock Trail and the 29-28-30 connecting trail over by Leathermans Loop has many small creeks/streams if it has rained recently and the Rock Trail has some of the best views in the park (and the steepest ascent/decent as well).
We have hung hammocks to lay during the day
If you reserve a campsite you can stay past the afternoon and all night

I work in the park and I can positively say yes we do! Year round camping, shelters and tent sites available. Stop into the main office and see one of our staff members who will set you up with a site and all the info you will need to know. We have kiln dried firewood for purchase as well as we do not allow firewood to be brought into the park per conservation regulations. Enjoy your time and have fun out there!
