I think the Presbyterian Hospital you're looking for is the one in Midtown. They have a neurology center there.

That’s a very broad question. For future reference, go to the hopital site and check out available info. The NYP site is actually quite well done and have well coverage of info. Breaking down the department and specialty in this location. Your question is not specific as to what part of the treatment stage are you inquiring about. If they are good and effectively accessing if someone is having a stroke, which can go either way base on the resident and attending on that shift. If you are referring to ER visit, that can depends on how busy the admission and triage is at the time, and how effective triage note the severity of each patient & and which stage of the stroke. The overall patient experience & tx includes many nurses, patient service tech, PT team in the recovery process, the involvement of patient service & communication. My experience via ER was v. efficient & fast. Seen by an MD w/out long wait. He listens, ask all the right question & address my concern effectively.
