How do I get a case disposition sent to me from a case in 1984

It really depends on what kind of case it is. If it was a Supreme Civil Case then it would be available in the Clerk's off, if it was a surrogates case it would be in surrogates records (doesn't take long at all, everything is kept on site so you don't have to order the file. If it was a Lower Civil court case then yeah you have to go to Civil Court on Livingston street and they do have to order old cases and can take 3 months. If it was a criminal matter, the you'd have to go to criminal court etc...

You have to go to Surrogates Court Administration. If you have the index number and any other information relating to the case. If you need a physical file it may take 3 months since it's 1984. Low
