Hi Anthony - Though we do have a number of one-bedroom apartments, we predominantly offer studios that can accommodate one adult. Applications are available on our website at https://breakingground.org/need-housing. Are you working with a case manager or housing specialist? If not, we recommend visiting one of NYC's HOMEBASE offices - they are located in every borough. It's always best to work with someone who can look at the full picture of your situation, discover what your goals and needs are, and then try to match you with the right resources/housing.
Hi Anthony. You should go to breakingground.org and apply for an apartment. Our intake people are great and they can help you figure out exactly what would be the next steps for you.
Hi, I'm A.M. writing right now because I'm desperate. My application was rejected because of my husband information. We don't live together and having separate life in different state, will divorce soon. I tried to explain that to BreakingGround but nothing. And since I sent my appeal, I don't have any answer from them, I'm ready to provide them more information but don't know how to contact them. I sent a lot of emails and I'm waiting. I'm health-care worker and I really need this appartment. Renting a room for more than 3 years, just need a comfortable and decent space for me and my son. Thank you.
