There is no more section 8
I applied for City Housing about 9 years ago, submitting all of the needed documents. Fourth times I received a letter stating that I "DID NOT". So I went in person each time and was advised that there was no need for me to come back because all of the documents needed was already on file. That is when I was also advised that the female that was handling my case was out ill, and there was no one covering her work load. I fined out this afternoon that today was the last day to fill out a application for Section 8. When I went online it was almost 4 p m. Only to see a icon that reads "NO MORE SECTION 8". Now at this point what can I do? ? ? because I an a SENIOR Citizen (73) and a ASTHMATIC, with a CARDIOVASCULAR problem. I am still in need of housing. The residence that I am now there is a live poultry outlet next door, and doing the hot summer I don't dear open the windows because of the stench in the air. I need help. To my knowledge recently section 8 was only open to special populations like homeless transitional age youth, but about a month ago it closed again. You had to apply through a case manager
How can I go on applying for section 8

Domestic violence.homeless but you still have to wait about a year in shelter.oh and people with disabilities Don't believe everything you hear do your own research.God bless
If you are special needs yes you can go to you local PHA office
