Rose Community allows the superintendent of the building to act as a gestapo. It seems that the resident manager is the superintendent rather than the other way around. Rose Community submitted a request to HUD to obtain an increase for the rental subsidies, however the building remains in disrepair in much need of a paint job and a scaffold was placed in the exterior with no work being done.

Sunset Gardens is very well managed senior residence, and the location is very convenient with access to public transportation just 1 block away. My elderly mother has been living there since 2019, and she is very happy and comfortable living there. The building is very clean and there is a security attendant 24x7. And the staff is very courteous and help. The residence manager, Cynthia, has been very helpful in providing top notch services to the residents, including on-site flu and COVID-19 vaccinations. Highly recommended!
