Take an N, Q or R train to 34th Herald Square. Walk one block to 7th Avenue and 34th Street. You will be in the main LIRR hub at Penn Station. The N train does not stop at Atlantic Avenue. The stop is Pacific Street.
Take a Brooklyn bound N or Q to Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center.
