I thought we paid 11 dollars. It's worth every penny. You can even go in back and make shell crafts which is included in price. Also a must see is the continuous 15 min movie they show. We were not going to watch it but we were so glad we did. It was very interesting about shells and the left handed shells we learned about in movie. It's a good place to visit!

Their rates must have gone up considerably in the laat 2 years because their website now says: Adult (18+): $23.95 Youth (12–17): $14.95 Child (5–11): $8.95 Under 5: FREE (With unspecified AARP, AAA & Senior discounts available)

Adults are $15, ages 12-17 $9, ages 5-11 $7 & under 5 is free. It absolutely is worth it. That was the best activity we did last June. Be sure you go to tank talk it is so interesting they have live shells that they show & talk about that are native to Sanibel. If possible make this one of your first activities so you can spot them while shelling! Have fun!

We're senior citizen and I think we paid $12 (AAA) Gives a discount, but it was worth every penny. Go to the"tank talks" you will really enjoy it, no matter what your age range
