What's the nearest metro station?

It's pretty walkavle from both Shaw and Dupont. McPherson Square is also not too far.

I do DuPont. When cold rainy or hot and muggy (pretty common), not great. On a nice day with good shoes, a nice walk. Uber is available from subway stops ,but never seem available in rainy Saturday nights. Best is to drive and park at the Washington Hotel then walk north. You get a discount on parking there. Theres also a little corner parking lot several block north for $20 cash. Street parking is a treasure hunt.

Convention center is not too bad either. P st stops on 14th St buses is best

The U Stteet Metro is the closest. Green line.
