Parking? There are parking garages that are in walking distance to the theatre, but seemed like street parking was near to impossible.

That would probably change per show. I think show producers set those. BUT, check the Todaytix app. Sometimes they do the lotteries and they offer highly discounted tickets for many shows and not just National Theatre.

Almost equidistant from Metro Center and Federal Triangle - either works fine.

Google the runtime for the show, then add half an hour for late curtain and intermission.

The show is 2 and 50 minutes with a 15 minute intermission.

National Theater taravel: I've started to park in NE and UBER is $7+ - each way. Also solves the cluster situation after the curtain falls.

You may want to look at Old Ebbits Grill too. It is within a block or 2 (a walk) and a local institution (and on its 3rd location in the same basic area for MANY years). There are a couple of upscale places in the immediate area too...Occidental for one but too rich for my blood.
