Grateful for the virtual classes at Washington Improv Theater during quarantine. I've been taking the amazing accent classes with Sarah Nichols and am honing my craft. She provides excellent guides for you to ace whatever accent. Highly recommend. Can't wait to take an in person improv class.

What's not to love about excellent local improv? Plus, they sell beer!

Have been to multiple shows. Always a joy and always a night of many laughs.

We do not have an age requirement, although we usually say our shows are PG-13. Parents of teens can use their own discretion. The shows generally are not suitable for kids 12 and below.
With input from our community, we decided that our definition of 'fully vaccinated' includes a booster shot. We are seeking to create the safest atmosphere possible for our patrons.
We do have alumni who have gone on to great things including TV and movies! However, most people who take our classes have their own reasons like wanting to find a new creative outlet, meet people, or overcome a personal challenge (like public speaking).
Thank you for the offer! Unfortunately, we have very limited storage space and can't accept material donations at this time.
We have a recurring show called Poetic Resistance that fuses improv with poetry, but the vast majority of our programming is longform improv.
