Smithsonian's National Postal Museum - All questions

Address: 2 Massachusetts Ave NE, Washington, DC 20002, USA

No designated parking there. However there is w/ walking distance. However, when going into DC I recommend walking or Metro. Postal Museum is right across from Union Station so taking Metro to there is smart.

No

There is no public parking in the building, but you can park in garages nearby, such as the large garage at Union Station next door to the museum.

Stephanie Rogers | Sep 30, 2018

There is a parking garage next to Union Station.

It is easy to get to postal museum by public transportation. Circulator bus red line runs to union station every 10 minutes, and is a great way to get around the mall and tidal basin.

Parking and even driving in the DC area is tough if you do not know the area. Uber/Lyft is the best way to get around if you are a visitor.

Michelene LaTurneau | Sep 30, 2018

Not sure about parking. We walked. Hotel was not far from Union Station, and that was how we found the museum.

A C | Sep 30, 2018

There is street parking all around the area, but finding a spot is an exercise in patience, and most spots have a time limit of 2 or 3 hours. You'll only need about 2 to see the museum. There are parking garages nearby. I've paid $10-15 for a full day in that area.
