Worked for Steak n Shake 12 years in Metro Atlanta at the busiest store out of over 470 stores nationwide. We had exceptional service. This store is slow all the time with or without other customers. Sad.
Getting seated is not the problem. They forget about you after that. Order wrong when it finally comes. Then wait for the check. No thanks.
I will not ever go back the service is just that bad. The manager does not matter
It really depends on who's there, what managwr is working, etc. Sad but true...
They finally saw me got concerned and I ate free of charge
Ive never had a problem with customer service...i was waited on within few mins of being seated...now depending how busy restraunt is..depends on length of getting service
It's not so much that you get ignored, it's more so that the servers don't prioritize your table in the right order. They have other tables to service and at times they can probably get caught up.
I've walked out from there once. Had a group of 3 and we didn't get drinks for 20 minutes so we went to ihop instead.
I am generally greeted almost immediately and then sat fairly promptly thereafter. The service wasn't perfect but not bad overall.
Took a bit to get my order customer service could be better
It's not easy to figure who among those running here and there is going to seat you, but I've always been seated within a reasonable time frame.
