In my case, they gave me 2 room keys and a map and then we were driven up to our block as it was at the other end of the property and the number of the reception incase we needed any help getting out
James is correct. Upon checking in they will give you room keys and show on a map where you will be staying.
It's essentially the same. You'll enter through the main gate and that will lead you up to the main building where you will check in.
The visitor welcome center is a hotel lobby staffed 24/7. You check in there. If you have a vehicle they give you a map to your unit. It's a large resort. They can take you if you are not in a vehicle. Golf cart.
Wasn't any different than checking in to another hotel.
Chris is correct. Perhaps if the hotel is full, they don't time to clean your room, so, they offer usd as credit to consume into hotel in change.
