We had such an amazing time at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress!! By far our best vacation so far! We loved everything about this Resort. We had more fun and enjoyment playing, swimming, eating, kayaking, golfing and exploring all around the resort than we did going to Disney. I'm not one to repeat vacations because I want to see new places, but this is on the list to return when Kyle gets older and can enjoy it even more! The views from our balcony were amazing! The staff was amazing! The front desk, bellman, concierge, restaurant staff, poolside cabana staff, housekeeping staff and even the FedEx staff was helpful in going above and beyond! We can't wait to return to Orlando and stay here again. I cannot express enough how much we loved this trip and this resort!

They have the fastest housekeeping I have ever seen. There are also various of activities to do inside the hotel. I stayed here for Disney this time. I would definitely come back next time just to relax in the resort.

Good hotel, but architecture has it's disadvantages as the rooms all face the tremendous open hallway and are therefore all very noisy. The temperature in the conference rooms is too low for sitting all day listening to speakers. The to be payed for parking place is a long walk from the hotel, the free parking space is almost a hiking event back to the hotel. All in all not a bad hotel..... But maybe not quite the standards it should have, regarding the price...

Staff was great, Specially during Labor Day weekend.

I dont believe so but the airport is not very far away so an uber is less tham 30$
No but there are two really nice pools, one heated and one not, with a water slide and cool rock caves. There's also a pretty large lake where you can go canoeing and kayaking at no extra charge. This is one of my favorite places to stay.
By calling the reservations line they will be able to help you. Or by going on to you confirmation email and clicking the cancel reservation button.
I didn't use the shuttles..not Sure.
It says that it's heated, but it is definitely NOT heated. Disney heats pools to 75 degrees and Hyatt couldn't have been more that 65. I visited the east coast of Florida and the ocean was warmer in March, I think it was 72 degrees.
not really heat the pool, but with the new temperatures is not necessary
As soon as the the room is inspected
For the trips to Disney and Universal you need to get a voucher (free) from the bell desk in the main lobby next to the entrance. For Disney I can remember 0830, 1030, 1230. Return at 8pm. If you are lucky you'll get the lip-synching, dancing bus driver.
No, there is valet and self park but both have a cost. Please refer to the hotel website for parking rates
I have just returned last week from there, and if your going in summer time you will absolutely appreciate the coolness of it, it was 37-40 degree heat, so even though it was a shock getting in once your in its fine and you don't notice at all, quite funny watching everyone's faces as they enter though 😆

Cabanas are available but limited. Make sure to book well ahead of your stay. They do have a pool side bar with food service and seating at the bar and have roving service for food and drink orders around the pools but can be a little slow on busy days.
They didn't 2 weeks ago. Suggested but not mandated.
To be honest I have no idea.
You have to call the front desk or ays/pbx to find out
Please do not listen to the people saying there are no Gators! Yes in Florida if the water is wet, they could be a gator. Just Google the little boy who was killed at Disney by a Gator. Please be careful. Not saying you can't kayak but keep an eye out for critters.
They have a splash pad, but no "kid's pool". All of the pools range from 3-5 foot deep with several waterfalls cascading into them. As far as I recall, they do not have a specific kiddie pool (usually only a foot or two deep).
the market has Starbucks and other breakfast options with about 10 dollars for sandwiches and 6 for coffee
Yes. If you follow the signs to the gym and laundry the arcade is in the same room as the laundry room. It's not big but a few games, a claw machine and air hockey.
Go in the direction towards I-295. The hotel will on the right. Hotel is near the movies. Hope that helps.
Hi Traci, none of our suites have full kitchens. We do have the President's House, which is a private residence on property that has 3 bedrooms. 3.5 bathrooms and a full kitchen which we do have available for a nightly rate. Please visit https://www.hyatt.com/en-US/hotel/florida/hyatt-regency-grand-cypress/vista to view rates and availability.
You can as long as you have a reservation in place. They will receive the package and hold for you.
I'm so sorry , English would be very helpful for you to ask all of Google guide
I cant help you as I was just a guest revently. But from my experience doing this same thing(shipping amazon items), I addressed the package to the hotel, with a sublune daying " for arriving guest (your name) oct 6. It has always worked out fine
Every 2 hours. You have to reserved with the concierge because spaces are limited. I loved it. Been there 4 times in the last 5 years! Exceptional customer service!
You need to call the hotel concierge.
Hello, While we do allow guests to bring skateboards, we do not allow the use of skateboards anywhere on property.
use Lyft or Uber, quick and cheap
No, however if they would like to do the waterslide, kids ages 17 and under must wear a bracelet. Enjoy your stay!
There is one on site which is included in your stay and perfect for family fun but a more extensive coarse across the street is not included.
Room begin on the second floor with quick lift access.
Do you mean a pool for babies under 3 years of age? Then no, they don't have that, they have a splash zone for kid. They have two pools, small one with a slide which is a heated pool, a bigger one is goes inside the cave/grotto and out the other side with a hanging bridge but both have shallow end start at 3 feet deep. Hope that help.
As others said the milage is close but Grand Cypress is near Disney Springs (Downtown Disney) which gets insanely congested. It could easily take 40 minutes to commute between the two depending on the time of day. If you want Disney stay at Grand Cypress, if you want the convention center or Universal area stay at the Regency or hyatt Place convention center or hyatt place Universal.
You will have to call the hotel for that information
5.8 miles In personal or rental car is 16 minutes In bus or shuttle 30 plus
We do have a basketball court out by our Tennis and Racquet club.
Yes, there is a happy hour at the lake house bar. It is M-F 4-5pm. The deals are pretty decent as well.
