The neighborhood is fine. The most i run into is beggars. Just look out for them and you'll be fine.
Immediate area is very safe. Be careful if you cross North Avenue. Its a bit dicey looking but probably ok there. Have fun!
Its totally fine, like anywhere in the city, be aware of your surroundings and dont do things like leave valuables in your car. The most crime is that area is car thefts. Ive personally been there dozens of times and never had any issue (including late at night) - dont be afraid! Have fun!
Keep to the lit, public roads. Around the garage and the gallery was safe from what I saw when I went for a later performance. Be careful when exiting into the outskirts of the city. Some target women so always continue to move!
Just be careful walking around. I walked around alone in the area after a show let out at 1 AM and I was fine. Just be aware and don't go down any poorly lit streets if you're worried.
The area around Metro Gallery and the parking lot are ok, the areas 8 to 10 blocks away don't seem quite as safe
