is there a store that will cut melamine panels

Most stores will cut it, but some won't because you'll get jagged edges due to the type of saw they use. If you insist that they do it they usually will, and to minimize the jagged edges have them put blue painters tape all around the cut line on the board or sheet.

I would Google the store # and ask the customer service dept to transfer you to that area an you will find out.... I do know the Hope Depot does stuff like that... They do but specifically this, I'm unsure....? But that's my way of finding out.... Personally, that's what I would do.. I would call that Home Depot location and ask for customer service!
