St. Timothy's Church was built in 1959, though the congregation was established as St Timothy's Church as early as 1957. Before this date the congregation existed as St Savior's Church on Tucker Street in Raleigh. The Rector at the time of the move to North Hills was the Reverend George Hale, and the bishop at the time was the Rt. Reverend Penick.
Maybe my dad was just friends with Father Hale but he may have contributed to school Just curious The church I go to in Wilmington reminds me of that church. He may have helped with school buildings I still have my 1st grade reader from there
