STAY CLEAR. I REPEAT. STAY CLEAR. Although the maintenance staff is absolutely incredible and on their A-game 24/7, and the apartment itself was clean, the leasing staff is an ABSOLUTE JOKE. The entire office staff walked out / quit. They never answer the phones, and when they do they tell you something different each time so you never get the help you need. It took me 3 weeks to get out of my apartment and turn in my keys, because they’ll randomly close office, or have you do the wrong paper work where they ask you to come back every day to do something new. The community barbecues are full of maggots and theres loiter’s camping out in the community areas making it unsafe. I would rate this place 0 stars if I could. This was the worst leasing experience of my entire life. The only helpful employees were Jennifer and Jordie. They are truly the nicest staff here. Cumberland Cove cares more about renovating their own leasing office, then helping their customers. The gym isn’t a gym. It’s 2 broken treadmills, and 3 broken weight machines. It’s a joke. Don’t ever expect any “community amenities” to be useable, even though you pay for them every month. The pools aren’t even open and have been under construction for months. Just stay clear. Trust this bad review and RUN… while you still can.

I have lived in Raleigh for about 22 years now and over that time, because of the crazy paths life takes you through, this is my 3rd time living in Cumberland Cove. I always know I can come back here and feel at home. Renovations are going strong right now and the updated apartments are beautiful. The dog park is massive and the new kids play area makes me wish I had a little one again so she can enjoy it!! They have an amazing office team that responds to me within a day if I have questions and their maintenance team is seriously top notch. Every maintenance request I've put in is fixed the next day. It's a beautiful, established apartment complex with modern features. Not to mention Lake Lynn being backed up to it. What more can you ask for?

DO NOT move to Cumberland Cove. There was a water valve break above my apartment. My carpet started developing mold and my walls did soon after. I expressed major concerns to the property manager, Colby Robinson. They offered me the opportunity to break my lease at no penalty, to which I stated that I didn’t want to break my lease. I just wanted to be moved or accommodated until the mold situation was handled. Two days later I received a termination of my lease letter. I honestly can’t believe they’re doing this to me and now the DOJ has gotten involved. Colby is rude and unprofessional. DO NOT count on her to care about your healthy and safety.
