I have found that customer service at Walmart really depends upon the store and the person working the counter. Sometimes it's great, and sometimes it sucks. What do you expect from folks that make 10 to 12 bucks an hour? If low prices are what you're looking for, Walmart is your store, if customer service is what you're looking for shop somewhere else.
I think it depends on the store. I have better luck at the Wal-Mart on Fairview and eagle even though this one is closer to my house.
I'm actually starting to wonder if their management is trying to encourage more customers to use the online ordering with free pickup service, by having fewer people working on the floor. Long lines, and an inability to locate what i need has pretty much driven me away from shopping in-store at this location. It's too bad, because the human touch is so much better.
I've been to the Overland Walmart and it is crazy busy. The employees are willing to help, they just so much to do and they are pulled in every which direction. I think you just ran into the wrong one.
They would rather sit around with there thump in up there ass rather than taking a few minutes of there time to help someone in need to them we are not that important
