In October my bill was $70. In November it was $130.00. Now my bill has jumped to $243.00 and the kicker? I've been taking care of my mom at her house. No lights on, no washer and dryer being used, heat down to 58. No one there and bill tripled?

My previous months bill was $70 and this month it’s $177!!! And this billing month I was having a new a/c and heat pump replaced so my heat and a/c was disconnected so we never used either one!!!

It's crazy. But we have to pay or no electric. My bill did go down though..I got a thing called miracle watt and it makes a real difference since I wrote this. Duke even said, for the first time ever, "way to go! You're taking steps to lower your energy usage!" That was a first!
