Have Sandhill crane frequented this region ? I had seen 2 today flying over Kirkwood NY very high up but rattling trumpeting was heard. They were southerly traveling.

Yes, they breed in the Montezuma area and are regularly seen.

Yes! We've seen many in the area of Armitage Rd, route 89, and the Knox Marcellus Marsh
