Yes. Went in lake over memorial day weekend.

I went for memorial day weekend. My family chilled lakeside while waiting for their turn to go tubing. But if you really want to chill IN the water go up 5 miles to Kern river. That's the spot!!😁😁 (bring a tube with you) 😉

Yes there are plenty of places to swim if that's what you mean. Just check with the Forest Service about the algae problem, it can be unhealthy for dogs, kids etc.

I went last week and everyone was able to go to the lake but it's more for boats and jetskies
