sometimes it is a deposit hold not a charge. it can take time to release the hold. cars are rented under an "RR#". the same car can be rented under a new "RR#" while your hold is being released. I rent every week btw.
Had the same issue returned a car on Jan 14th and car was not returned into system until the 24th.. car was still in my name while being rented out to someone the say day on the 14th.
