I have seen the Lyric ushers assist in removing walkers prior to the performance and returning them for use at intermission and at the conclusion of the performance. Be sure to call Audience Services before your performance to ensure you have an accessible seat.
I believe they can take it at the coat check, but you might want to call in advance.
