Our behavioral health services are integrated with our primary care services, which means you would first be scheduled to see a primary care provider to rule out any physical issues related to the symptoms you are experiencing. If they determine the need, they will refer you to our behavioral health team, which includes a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Psychologists. They will conduct an assessment and offer therapy. If a psychiatric consultation is indicated, they will make one. We do not, however, start with psychiatry and medications--our approach is to work through other options. I know a lot about Foundcare, I'm a patient now almost 2 yrs. I see the psych doctor. If u are able to get a walk in appt with the dr. u most likely can get the meds same day. I'm really not sure though for walk-in
No, you need to get seen by a doctor first, i recommend Dr. Ira. Then stress the issue to him, good luck he is a real cool doc.
