I had a paint peeling issue on my 2017 Hyundai Sonata on the roof and hood. 5yrs old and beyond warranty, the Hyundai dealer insisted there was no recall or known issues with that model. (I have found another owner with the same issue at my gym!) Maaco did an excellent job and their work has a 4-yr warranty. Very pleased and a fair price for the work involved.

I paid around I think $1,250 they did a really nice job but they have cheaper and more expensive paint jobs

Put a roof skin in best bet. Rust will always come back, unless u take it all the way back to New metal. Which u may as well put New metal on.
