Bubblegum Alley - All questions

Address: 733 Higuera St, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401, USA

Julia Noneya | May 1, 2022

I have been adding gum there since 1985. It's gross and I love it Every few years they do clean it but it is such a legend that folks quickly fix that! When I worked on Higuera I walked down that alley everyday. I always had that 'flavor for 5 seconds ' rainbow gum in the morning and some nice hubba Bubba, bubble yum, or big league chew for on my way home.

Although weird I'd like to check it out. Some Art is weird so why not a Gum Alley!

No, it's gross but weird that people did/do it. I don't understand the fascination but I definitely had to go there

Christina Hunt Wood | Sep 29, 2019

Nope. My daughter was completely grossed out. 😂 She was also fascinated...

Yes it’s gross but at the same time cool. Obviously it made its way to be a landmark. Not only that but how many times have these gums have been watered down by rain and heated up by the sun. So in reality there isn’t much germs on it only the fresh ones lol

No David it is disgusting. But If I had the money and time i would run a DNA test on every piece of gum there what would we find

It was nastier to be lowered over a cliff in Ireland, where I had a chance to "kiss the blarney stone",( and there by obtaining the gift of lying.)

Yes you are. Suck it up! It's history, like it or not.
