I have a 15 year old granddaughter living with me and I come home and her and a friend were smoking weed in my basement. If I called the cops is there really anything they can do or would it be a waste of there time.

Dont ruin her record just cause shes smoking weed, atleast shes doing it at home, not running the streets doing it. Maybe talk to her first......

I’m pretty sure the most harmful effects of smoking marijuana is that you’ll get a little chubby from all the junk food you’re eating.

However, marijuana has been proven to be safer than peanuts.

There is something that can be done. It would be best to call when you witnessed the violation. Traditionally they would refer her for charges for possessing the illegal substance. The court may order her some drug abuse classes to educate her on the harmful effects of drugs in hopes of her making better choices.
