There is also a difference between protective orders and restraining orders (restraining orders are usually involving divorce or custody) you can look it up at utcourts.gov. if its domestic violence related I'd say go to Matheson courthouse as they have advocates that walk people through the process and paperwork at the courthouse. All the info on phone numbers and locations as well as what qualifies for which order are on that website.

It's a protective order or a restraining order and the Matteson court house can help with that.
