Hi Leslie, Barring any inclement weather delays, the Friends of Kids Castle committee is presently estimating Nov 2019 for the Grand Reopening of the playground. It’s best to keep checking their website at www.SaveKidsCastle.org for any updates. As they get closer to the completion of this improvement project, they will set a firm date for the reopening of the playground and post it on their website. They are installing many new play structures that will be usable by children of all abilities including kids with special needs. I was down at Kids Castle yesterday and the installation is moving forward :)
Why on Earth would this be a thing to do during the summer?
It was originally said mid june to re-open now it has been delayed two months...WOW...VERY DISAPPOINTING!
The Kids Castle playground is temporarily close from Monday, April 8, 2019 through August 2019 to install new play structures usable by children of all abilities including kids with special needs. The Park itself will remain open during the entire project. This temporary closure of Kids Castle marks another step in the ongoing “Build the Kingdom”
