The Park itself is open Angela with plenty to see & enjoy... The Kids Castle playground within the Park however is temporarily closed for upgrades and to install new play structures for children of all abilities including kids with special needs. Presently, there is no firm date for the reopening of Kids Castle, although we are now estimating late August - early Sept depending on whether or not the torrential rains we've been having over the many months continue. This project is a huge undertaking. The area being developed spans over almost half of the entire playground. Volunteers have happily invested over six-years of their lives to raise over $500,000 to move this project forward. We all want it done yesterday, but are so very happy that it will been done soon. In hindsight, it may have better to provide Summer 2019 as the estimated reopening time frame.
