We base what we pay for used albums on a few factors: condition(the record itself, plus its jacket), our inventory at that time, and our predicted ability to resell the album(s). We pay as little a $1 per album, but we've paid hundreds of dollars for just 1 record. The latter doesn't occur often, but the if you have something rare or especially unusual, we pay accordingly. Long story short, we pay fair market value for clean records that we need for our inventory and/or are confident that we can resell. Also, we offer more in store credit.
