I am bringing a USAF veteran who flew in the Berlin Airlift and worked on planes for years after that. Can he visit with some of the volunteers that are restoring planes? Is there a best day to visit?

I went over Memorial Day weekend and it didn't seem that busy, but the parking lot was pretty full. There are people who are available to answer questions, etc., but not 100% sure if they are ones that are restoring the planes. Good luck to you and enjoy and your visit.
