Why is it a two star hotel

Nice clean rooms, no restaurant on site.Yes they are in walking distance,but would drive if dark only couple blocks down the street.

The hotel star system is based on what facilities are available at the hotel. It really has zero to do with the quality of a hotel, though in the case of four and five star hotels, the two usually go hand-in-hand. The available facilities can be viewed on the Best Western website. Usually to get a 3-star or above rating a hotel needs to have a fine dining restaurant on site. This hotel does not have an on-site restaurant that they do have a bar. There are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.
