The lady who took our orders was so nice, but we ordered to go so we went to a place down the street for drinks. It was 50 minutes after we left the place that we decided to go back as we hadn't received a call that our food was ready. It was another 10-15 minutes of being in the restaurant before we got our food. Finally got back to our place and had the salad first, wasn't bad but the food was terrible. It smelled funky as soon as we took the lid off and couldn't even finish the first bite. It smelled and tasted like the sauce went bad a while ago and was still being used. Not a fan and will not be going back if we are ever in town again.

We ordered and paid for a 12" "lees special" grinder for a pick up order. We picked it up close to closing time. We didn't open the order up right away. Much to our dismay, we paid for a 12" grinder that was just a little over 9". It was too late to call to.. they had closed for the evening at 9 pm. Very very disappointed. I lady at the register when I checked out told me that SPIRO MATSOS himself was the person in the kitchen doing the cooking. Because of his shortened hours I can't help but think that the bun must have had mold on it so he cut that part off and made the sandwich anyway. I will be calling tomorrow when they open at 3 pm to let them know. I will update my comment with how Spiro handled the situation

My wife and I went here for lunch. I felt at home in what I can describe as a very casual family friendly atmosphere. If you're looking for a refined dining experience, this place is not for you. If you're looking for an unpretentious, great place to eat, then you should give Matsos a try. It took a little longer to get our food than what I'm used to, but our pizzas were very tasty.
