They haven't taken Geisinger because of Geisinger BUT...when i had a visit 2 weeks or so ago...they told me they were in process of a contract and the office staff was so happy! As are us ghp patients. No effective date yet
They don't take insurance there. You pay out of pocket for the appointment. But the prescriptions it covers that.
We are now accepting Geisinger Health Plan for the office visit with little to no copay GHP Medicaid patients pay $0 at the door and $1 at the pharmacy!. Since Sept 1st 2017. We plan to work with other health plans in the next 6-12 months. We can assist you in submitting billing statements to your insurance company for all other plans for direct reimbursement to you after your deductible is met.
Geisinger is now accepted!
Exactly....you pay for the office visit out of pocket $280 per month and your insurance pays for the prescription. It only matters if the geisinger plan will pay for the prescription. I don't know why they would need a contract with them if you pay for the appointment every month cuz they dont.
