I just bought a used vehicle, how do I register it and get it on the road without having to wait 2 weeks for an appointment?

You cannot. You must make an appointment, and they are about 10 - 15 days out as of 8/1/20. I had 1 idea but I don't think this will apply to you, but just in case; A car dealership is able to switch REGISTRATIONS, or give you new plates and registration w/o going to DMV. If you know anyone that works at a dealership or if you feel like calling any dealership, maybe they can answer your question or help you solve your problem.
