This is our favorite dog park in Buffalo. So cool that the creek provides natural borders, and there is a walking path loop with picnic tables, benches, pavilions, swing sets, book share cabinets, etc. There is even a beach area for dogs to play in shallow water. The walking loop is really nice for dogs that don't quite know what to do at a standard dog park. Plenty of parking. Highly recommend!

The island is the park. It’s a lovely place for your pups to run around and meet new dogs. Well behaved dogs and friendly owners. This park is a MUST visit!!

Bark Park is a huge dog park. It's nice because it's mostly shaded, and has space for dogs to disengage from each other.

So the dog's don't fall thought the ice
A good number of people are at the Bark Park, right now...including.myself...and it is just after 6pm...
Most people have them off leash. If you want yours to be on a leash you can but typically everyone just lets the dogs play.
I went there yesterday and it was open
It's just temporary because of the rain and mud last weekend. I joined the group on Facebook so that's how I found out. Said they'll open again with frozen ground.
Yea no need for a fence it's surrounded by water . The only fence is at the beginning when you cross over the bridge
