Very chill and quiet ... you can go kayak and boating 🛶 there’s sitting areas make sure to bring a shade or a umbrella for it’s not really a shady area especially during the day ... great fishing 🎣 spot with other parks in the area to explore

Great place to launch a kayak. My only complaint is the exterior gate was locked so you had to carry your boat In to the park instead of dropping it off at the launch.

Firstly, iI don't drive. If the gates to the museum are locked theres a parking lot to the left of it that may allow for free parking there, but dont take my word for it inquire with the staff at the museum when open or call the Valley center on Leddy st. they manage it.
