My driving licence is due to expire June 2020 after 10 years. Do I have to go to the DMV or can I renew it over the phone or by email. I have difficulties driving that far. Thanks

Pictures are now good for up to 14 years and licenses are renewable online. https://www.mass.gov/how-to/renew-your-drivers-license You need a Real ID to fly within the United States or enter Fed buildings effective Oct 2020. To get a Real ID license you must renew in person with required documents & have a new picture taken. The cost is the same as a regular license. You can start the application here for the Real ID license. https://www.mass.gov/guides/massachusetts-identification-id-requirements#-start-your-application-online-

If can be done on their website, using same picture you did on last renewal. Unless you want the new "ID". Read difference on the mass registry website ..Mass.gov/orgs/Massachusetts-registry-of-motor-vehicles. Thx
