How is it that the animal control has only one animal handler to service the entire Forsyth County area!! I have called them a total of 3 times to come get a dog that has been abandoned by its owner!!!This is very aggravating,as the dog has no food!

I have fed and has given the dog water for 2 weeks !! I am not able to continue doing so! I am disabled and living on a fixed income!! I just want someone to come get him! I will give you a call!! Thanks!! I live in Winston!!

I am not sure who you are calling. The number I have for lost & found dogs is 336 703 2478. I am sure there is more than one employee at animal control. If you can't get them to pick up the dog please call the non-emergency sheriff's office. I don't know what town you are in. I hope you are giving the dog plenty of water in this heat. Throw it some scraps of food.
