My kid suggested I learn Dungeons & Dragons. Comes Under The Heading of I need to get out more. Would there be groups that would accept a newcomer for this game?

I do believe they have a dungeon and dragons adventure league which is made for people who would like to learn and have fun it's very structured and easy to pick up on just call and ask what nights they are running the DnDAL
