Gm, my son found a pit almost a year old yesterday but we can't keep him. Where can I drop him off at? Don't want to put him back out on the streets. ( Very friendly dog)..

Just take him to Morris, they'll take him in. I've been a walk-in several times. Two examples: one time I was using an ATM, pouring rain, and this dog just ran into my car as I was leaving; came from nowhere, took him to Morris. Another time, my wife and I would walk this park every day. We saw a cat up on a tree limb. The next day, same tree, same cat. It's February and both days were mind-blowing cold. I said, "Babe, that cat's been up there overnight, it's stuck, and it's not gonna make it another night." I couldn't climb up and get it, too high. So I drove a mile and a half home, put a ladder in the van, drove back to the park, went up the tree for the cat, got my arms mauled by it,( it must have been very frightened), and gave it over to Morris. There were other rescues too; never made a time, they always took them in.
