They never closed even though the Regal chain largely shutdown. There are several Regal theaters around the country that are still open... Irvine Spectrum is one of them.
I saw Tenet on Imax on 9/26/2020. Amazing! Go and enjoy. They only serve Pepsi now and they have Lavazza coffee.
Irvine Spectrum Regal, newly remodeled, is still open. But most Regal's are closed. Go see Tenet on the big IMAX screen!
