So I found a dog in the wooded area behind my house while I was walking my dog. She has a collar and leash but no tags. I took her to a local vet and they scanned her but no chip. What should I do?

Take her to SPCA where they'll post her on their website and get her a good home if no one claims her.

Call 911 and ask for animal control, ask if they take strays, if they do, take them there.
