Making the decision to move to a retirement community is stressful. We spent many days wondering if we were doing the right thing. After almost a year living at Riddle Village, I can emphatically say we did do the right thing. I love our apartment and I love not having to plan meals or cook. There are plenty of choices on the menus each day. The other residents were very welcoming and always helpful in answering our questions. There are plenty of activities to keep us busy and entertainment in the evenings.

Six months in and I am very happy about my decision to move to Riddle Village. There are many opportunities here to meet your neighbors by participating in activities, volunteering, joining committees and dining in the beautiful restaurants to name a few. Beauty surrounds us at this time of year. Walkers are “doing their thing” while others enjoy the pool and fitness center. Come and see RV! You will be glad you did…guaranteed! Anne Carroll

From a former employee, it is Very ghetto and unorganized, the Director of Nursing for Personal Care, Keshia is very immature and classLESS. She’s very unprofessional and rude. She needs to be fired immediately.

My husband and I have been here for three years. We did not know much about a Delaware County having lived in Montgomery and Chester counties for 51 years. But after many years of visiting retirement places, we could not find any facility that was as perfect in all areas as Riddle Village. And now we are so glad we are here at this time of the COVID-19 pandemic. Yes we are under restrictions to keep us safe, but the staff is doing an outstanding job in meeting our needs. Lunch and dinner are delivered every day as is our mail, groceries, packages, etc. We can walk the grounds and say Hi to friends. Residents have been busy making cloth masks for staff and residents. Yes this is a difficult time, but we are weathering this storm because we know we are safe.

Questions & Answers

I noticed in my brochure that Riddle has guest rooms? Can you explain?

Riddle Village LifeCare Retirement Community | Sep 28, 2020

Hi Mrs. Paolucci! Riddle Village has three guest suites available in our community. They are located in the commons building and are available to be booked at an additional cost by calling the concierge desk. This is a convenient option for when you have family or friends coming to visit. Your guests are welcome to stay with you in your apartment, but the guest suites are another option that we offer.

Do you take donations? For instance, books or home goods (e.g., small electronic appliances)?

Hi Peggy! Thank you for your question. Riddle Village is a continuing care retirement community (also known as a Lifeplan community). We offer a Type A Lifecare contract to our residents. Lifecare provides living accommodations, residential services and amenities – plus unlimited long-term Personal Care and Skilled Nursing Care if ever needed – without an increase to the monthly service fee. If you’d like more information, please call us to speak with a marketing representative
